The Oscars nominations are out and for film fans that means only one thing... it’s time to argue about whether the Academy made the right choices or got it wrong once again.

Was Warhorse a worthy candidate for best picture or should Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy have been given a chance? And does Scorcese really deserve to win another little statue when there’s some hot new kids on the block?
