From TV to Film and back again!

Hi. Oscar here. If you grew up watching TV in the 80's then your mind is going to get blown by all the TV-to-big screen talk that goes on in this particular episode.

Lost in Translation

Director, David Fincher’s latest project, the English language adaptation of Stieg Larsson’s best-seller, The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo, comes only two years after the Swedish-language version was released world-wide.

Why remake it? Is it because we are scared of sub-titles or is the opportunity to double-dip on one of the highest grossing franchises of recent years just too great?

Join me, Jo Cohen, Empire Magazine’s Ben McEachen and the Sci Fi Show’s Oscar Hillerstrom as we pick through Hollywood’s long history of pillaging the classic, and sometimes not-so-classic, gems from European and Asian cinema. Sometimes with inspiring results.
